New Pondless Waterfall in Rio Del Mar
Wood retaining walls were removed and replaced with Sonoma fieldstone. Some concrete patio was cut to accomodate a new grade. An existing mature shore pine,
Pinus contorta
was used to be the companion specimen flanking the waterfall and 4 more P. c. were added to build the theme, which simulates an alpine setting helped along with other associated genera of new plants. The view from inside the house of the waterfall is excellent, as is the night lighting added. The steep drop generates a big splash sound too!
